BMW Group: Press conference on the financial statements

Following a difficult year 2009 for the BMW car manufacturers as well, car sales of the BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce brands are supposed to rise again this year. According to Dr. Norbert Reithofer, president of the board of BMW at today's press conference on the financial statements in Munich, BMW has viewed the crisis as an opportunity and capitalized on it. BMW are on a track to profitable growth. At the annual shareholders' meeting, the board of directors and the supervisory board will propose a dividend on a similar level as in 2008 to let the shareholders profit from the company's results.
