With their BMW Hydrogen 7 the Munich manufacturers for the first time worldwide present a hydrogen-propelled and thus virtually emission-free premium saloon car for everyday use. Basis is the long version 760 Li. The BMW Hydrogen 7 is equipped with a bivalent 12-cylinder combustion engine that runs on hydrogen as well as on conventional petrol. The engine offers 1919 kW / 260 hp and propels the hydrogen car from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 9.5 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 230 km/h. The range in hydrogen operation is around 200 km.
