The Citroen C4 WRC is the new rallye car of the Citroen Sports Team, participating in the WRC Rallye World Championship as of 2007. Like its predecessor Xsara, the C4 WRC features a 4-wheel drive, a 2-litre turbo engine and a transversally mounted six-speed transmission. The C4 WRC is longer than the Xsara - about 4.20 m - allowing for a widening of the car within the regulatons from 1770 to 1800 millimetres. This change is to offer a better stability in curves.
